Sails glimpsed from Purbeck cliffs, fading into the light at the edge of sea and sky.

Images are shot on 35mm colour film stock on an old Nikon, shooting wide to allow these small details to be be blow up, revealing the pointillist structure of analogue film.  Prints are archival digital on a heavyweight Hahnemühle fine art paper.

Many of these images are shot in late afternoon light, with boats returning eastwards to Poole and beyond – but some are taken in stormier waters…
